Elizabeth King
August 22, 1926 – April 25, 2015
Elizabeth King, 88, of Waco, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Hospice Center.
Mrs. King was a member for over 50 years of the Order of the Eastern Star and in Merak Temple Daughters of the Nile. She was a Charter member of Lake Shore Baptist Church. She was a Nurse and Counselor for Cancer patients. She was a cancer survivor herself. She was also a talented seamstress and designer. Elizabeth was a devoted mother and grandmother to her beloved son and granddaughter.
She is survived by her son, James C. King and wife, Beverly of Waco; a beloved granddaughter, Karen King of Austin; two brothers, Howard O. Looney of Waco and Tommie R. Looney of Garland; and several nieces and nephews.
